Is love a duty?
I think it is in some way. The other day I read a book saying the main source of developing our relationship is communication. And the communication is cause by the expectation. Many romantic poets said that the love is so abrupt and described the love as an unconditional emotional feeling. But, when we love someone, we expect the person whom we love to love me in the same way. If my love isn't rewarded or recognized by the lover, it can't be last forever. Therefore if you want to be loved, it's your duty to love him. Human relationship is reciprocal not only emotionaly but also physically as long as there is the communication.

Is love a duty? No, but I wonder human-being can live without love. My answer is 'No' If someone feels nobody love her/him or he love nobody, he has no reasons to live. Love is the most essential resource oh life. Even though love isn't a duty, human-beings are doomed to love and to be loved.

Hi Lynn,
Great video nad questions. I like question number 3. I'm very scientific in my thinking so I believe that 'love' is actually a biological imperative that is necessary for human reproduction. I love my parents because they cared for me as a child which they did because they were relying on my support in their old age. I think that romantic love is simply biology helping us reproduce. Of course, that doesn't mean that I don't feel strongly but I do feel that we have very little choice in the love we feel because it's driven by survival.

Love is a Duty?
Never.. I'd rather say love is
freedom. It's a natural reaction
about someone you like.
But...
After marraige, it can be a duty
because you selected and decided.
